Currently there are several opportunities for individuals to help Land of Lincoln Honor Flight aside from the normal cash donation route. We are still seeking cash donations, but these opportunities provide you with additional avenues of support for our goal of sending our WW II veterans to Washington, D.C.

Important Program Information:
Want to help fund Land of Lincoln Honor Flights when you buy groceries at Schnucks? All you need to do is ask for a customer card like the one pictured above at their service counter. Then call the 800 number listed on the card and tell them that you would like to fund "Land of Lincoln Honor Flight". The zip code is 62629. That's it, except for buying your groceries like you would normally do. Schnucks will donate a small portion of your total grocery billing to our hub each time you show your card when you pay for your groceries.

Land of Lincoln Honor Flight T-Shirts:
The Land of Lincoln Honor Flight team is proud to offer LLHF T-Shirts to the general public so that you can show your support for our veterans by becoming a "walking billboard" of support for their sacrifices. How about a t-shirt for each member of the family? They make great gifts for all occasions! For sure you don't have to worry about finding one like them for sale at your local Walmart or Target.
Use our convenient order form by clicking on the t-shirt image above. It will take you to the order form which can be printed with the computer. Complete the printed order blank, include you check for the proper amount plus shipping, and mail to the provided address. Orders will be processed as quickly as possible.
Combat Coins is a program which allows your customers to donate their spare change to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight when making a purchase at your store.
Land of Lincoln Honor Flight will provide:
- Collection receptacles which you make available at the checkout to customers who wish to deposit their spare change upon making a purchase
- Posters (either laminated or in a standing display) which explain the Combat Coins program and cooperative efforts of your company with Land of Lincoln Honor Flight
- Informational Brochures which explain the mission and goals of Land of Lincoln Honor Flight
Land of Lincoln Honor Flight personnel and World War II veterans will be available to provide on-site presentations for your customers and staff upon request. Personnel will also be available to collect donations on pre-determined timeframes.
Your company will be recognized on our website’s Honor Roll and veterans on our flight will be made aware of your sponsorship. Your company will also be informed of the date and time of the welcome home ceremony of the flight you helped make possible.

Add-A-Dollar is a program which allows your customers to add a dollar to their total purchase as a donation to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
Land of Lincoln Honor Flight will provide:
- Add-A-Dollar coupons which you make available at the checkout to customers. They hand the coupon to the cashier who adds a dollar to the their total purchase.
- Posters (either laminated or in a standing display) which explain the Add-A-Dollar program and cooperative efforts of your company with Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
- Informational Brochures which explain the mission and goals of Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.

Company Cares is a program which allows your company the opportunity to work together with your employees in assisting Land of Lincoln Honor Flight to give our World War II veterans “one more tour with honor.”
Suggested activities which could be sponsored by your company:
- Silent Fund Drive – The company offers a challenge to employees to donate to Land of Lincoln Honor Fight; the company matches those donations either dollar-for-dollar or by percentage
- Event Fund Drive – The company sponsors an employee event (e.g. casual day, patriotism day) and employees donate to participate; the company matches employee donations.
- Fundraiser or Raffle – The company and employees hold a fundraiser (e.g., bake sale, golf outing, Land of Lincoln Honor Flight t-shirt sale) or raffle (please, no alcohol) with proceeds going to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
- Membership Drive – The company becomes a corporate sponsor of Land of Lincoln Honor Flight for an annual fee of $500; employees become individual members of Land of Lincoln Honor Flight for an annual fee of $10.00 or a lifetime fee of $50.00.
Land of Lincoln Honor Flight personnel and World War II veterans will be available to provide on-site presentations for your employees and informational cards.
Your company and individual donor employees will be recognized on our website’s Honor Roll and veterans on our flight will be made aware of your sponsorship. Your company will also be informed of the date and time of the welcome home ceremony of the flight you helped make possible.
Volunteers for Veterans is a program which allows military, fraternal, patriotic and veteran organizations to assist in fund-raising for and/or support of Land of Lincoln Honor Flight objectives.
Suggested activities which could be sponsored by your company:
- Host a Meal – Your organization hosts a fish/chicken fry, pancake and sausage breakfast, ice cream social, etc., for the general public with profits (or a percentage thereof) going to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight
- Host an Event – Your organization sponsors a raffle, trivia night, golf outing, poker run, etc., with profits (or a percentage thereof) going to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight
- Membership Drive/Sale – Your organization allows Land of Lincoln Honor Flight to hold a membership drive, t-shirt sale and/or book sale at a public event at your headquarters
- Recruiting – Recruit WWII veterans for upcoming flights, guardians and volunteers to help us accomplish our mission
- In-kind Donations – Participate in the Welcome Home event after each flight, assist with cost of printing flyers and brochures, assist with cost of postage, etc.
